Michael Karaffa, 60, of 21 Sherman Ave in Greenwich was arrested for DUI and Evading Responsibility on Monday. Karaffa turned himself into the Greenwich Police Department afer learning there was an active warrant issued for his arrest.
Karaffa’s charged stemmed from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on June 2 at about 9:00pm in a private parking lot at 1800 East Putnam ave, the address of the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.
Karaffa was released from custody after posting a $250 bond and assigned a court date of July 6 in Stamford Superior Court.
