According to Greenwich Police, of 7:45 am on Thursday there were 8 roads closed in the Town of Greenwich with trees and wires down.
Town Hall and Greenwich Library will open at 10:00am.
Eversource is reporting that approximately 5% of their customers are without power in Town.
Captain Kraig Gray said on Thursday morning police responded to numerous calls including cars that had spun out, minor accidents and trees down across the roadway. Also some power outages impacted some traffic signals.
Public Schools in Greenwich are closed on Thursday as clean-up continues.
