GPD: Man Charged for Stealing Copper Wire from Greenwich Plaza

On March 20, Greenwich Police investigated a larceny of construction materials at Greenwich Plaza.

According to Greenwich Police Lt. Kraig Gray, police were called by a building security supervisor who observed a man in a building freight elevator on a surveillance camera.

The investigation revealed that the suspect, Daniel S  Abraham, 44, of 180 Monroe Street in Bridgeport, had stolen a spool of electrical cable valued at $3,000.

He was also found to be in possession of a substances that tested positive for heroin and lied to a Greenwich Police officer while being questioned.

Mr. Abraham was charged with Illegal Possession, Larceny 3, and Interfering with an Officer.

His bond was set at $50,000, which he was unable to post. He was placed into a GPD cell block.

He was assigned a court date on April 3, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
