On Wednesday February 7, 2018 at about 5:55 pm, a 70-year-old local man was struck by a vehicle on Milbank Ave while crossing the street.
According to Greenwich Police, after being struck, the pedestrian slid under a parked car.
Greenwich Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the scene and were able to extricate the patient. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
This collision is under investigation by the Greenwich Police Department Traffic Section.
The incident was in the area of Agnes Moreley on Milbank, and the road between Havemeyer and Elm Street was closed for about an hour.
