John G Davis, 39, of 2646 Boston Post Rd in Darien was arrested on Friday, Nov. 21 at 1:21am for DUI and Driving the Wrong Way on a One-Way Street.
Greenwich Police officers traveling south on Greenwich Ave observed a Gray Nissan Altima with Florida license plates traveling north on Greenwich Ave against the posted “One Way” signs. Greenwich Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Havemeyer Place.
Officers observed Davis to have glassy, red eyes, slurred speech and the odor of alcoholic beverages on his person and breath. He was asked to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety tests, which he did not perform to standard.
He was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence and Driving the Wrong Way on a One Way Street.He was released after posting a $250 bond and has a court date at Stamford Superior Court on Dec.5, 2014.
