Construction Workers Busted for Trying to Steal Construction Materials at Greenwich Plaza

Four men were arrested by Greenwich Police on Thursday, June 15 around 6:30pm after Greenwich Police responded to an office building in Greenwich Plaza under construction near the Greenwich train station after receiving a report of theft of construction materials.

Investigation revealed that four men were working at a construction site and conspired to steal construction materials.

The men allegedly took materials from the work site without permission  and placed them in two of their cars at the end of the work day.

Terrance M Austin and Torrence M Austin, twin brothers, both 28, of 91 Ferris Avenue in Norwalk, along with Jonathan D Sequeira, 25, of 32 Benedict Street in Norwalk and Casval J Ward, 30, of 5 Marlin Drive in Norwalk were all arrested by Greenwich Police and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6 and Larceny 6.

Terrance Austin’s bond was set at $1,000. He has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on June 30, 2017.

Torrence Austin was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on June 30, 2017.

Mr. Sequeira was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on June 30, 2017.

Mr Ward’s bond was set at $1,000. He has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on June 30, 2017.

Terrance Austin has a court date scheduled on June 30 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
