Greenwich police responded to a domestic incident on Lafayette Place on Sunday morning around 10:00am.
Upon arrival, officers determined the argument was between a couple, which resulted in the accused, Paul Eugene Lleva, 40, of 60 Lafayette Place Apt 3A, engaging in a physical struggle with another person over a cell phone. The accused smashed and destroyed the cell phone in the immediate presence of an infant.
Mr. Lleva was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd degree, Risk of Injury to a Minor and Disorderly Conduct. He was assigned a court date of Sept. 28 and his bond set at $1,000, which he posted and was released without incident.
