On Thursday, Sept. 3 at about 2:30pm, Greenwich Police responded a call about people smoking marijuana in a parking lot in Chickahominy. When police arrived at 100 Melrose Ave, there were two teens in the parking lot, which smelled distinctively of marijuana.
Angelo Adonis Lobo, 19, of 16 Artic St Apt 3, said that he and his girlfriend, who is under 18, had been smoking marijuana in the parking lot. Lobo said he was in sole possession of the marijuana and that he had provided his juvenile girlfriend with the marijuana.
Additionally, Lobo was found to be in possession of a spice grinder that is commonly used to grind up marijuana in order to smoke marijuana cigarettes and cigars.
Lobo was placed under arrest and charged Risk of Injury to a Minor, Possession of Marijuana less than a 1/2 oz., and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was issued a court appearance date of Sept. 11 at Stamford Superior Court. He was able to post $100 bond and was released from custody.
