After Crash, Driver Gives Police Paperwork for Wrong Car

On June 1 Greenwich Police responded to a report of an accident in the area of Bruce Park Drive.

On scene, the driver, Lina Miranda, 46, of 42 Sherman Street in Stamford, gave police a vehicle registration and insurance for a gray Dodge Stratus. However she was driving a blue Ford Explorer.

Ms. Miranda did not have proper ID or valid driver’s license.

Ms. Miranda was arrested and charged with Driving an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Misuses of Plates, Driving Motor Vehicle without License 1st Offense, and No Insurance. Her bond was set at $250 and she was assigned a court date on June 16, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
