4th of July DUI for Man Found Asleep at the Wheel

Around 11:00pm on July 4, Greenwich Police were dispatched to 165 Lake Ave on a report of a car stopped in the road with its engine running.

Investigation determined that the driver, Carlos Rosario, 53, of 160 Oak Wood St in Bridgeport was asleep in the car with the engine running.

According to Greenwich Police, Mr. Rosario was unsteady on his feet upon exiting the vehicle.

Mr. Rosario did not perform field sobriety tests to standard. He was arrested and charged with DUI. He was assigned a court date on July 19, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.

He was unable to post a court set $250 bond at the time of his arrest and was held at Greenwich Police Dept.
