Yanina Lachance, 42, of 128 Valley Drive in Greenwich was charged with DUI and Failure to Drive in Proper lane after crashing her car into a stone wall at 39 Sound View Drive on Tuesday around 2:30pm.
According to Greenwich Police, on scene investigation revealed that Lachance had been traveling south on Sound View Drive approaching Woodland Drive when she crossed into the northbound lane of travel, exiting the roadway and hitting the stone wall.
Officers on scene observed that Lachance was unsteady on her feet and slurred her words. She was not able to perform standard field sobriety tests to standard. Her bond was set at $2,500 and she has a court date of May 19, 2016 in Stamford Superior Court.
