NIKA Update: Sleet; New Haven Line Trains on Hourly Schedule

UPDATE 2:30p.m. This unpleasant news for New Haven Line riders from Metro-North:

New Haven Line trains will operate on an hourly schedule due to significant weather-related problems with the overhead catenary wire beginning at 12 Noon.

  • Wednesday Afternoon is for freezing rain and sleet. Cloudy with a total daytime sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
  • Wednesday Night A chance of freezing drizzle before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind 10 to 14 mph.
