Tuesday’s Greenwich Planning and Zoning agenda includes an application for a final site plan and special permit to demolish two existing dwellings at 5 Brynwood Lane including the John Knapp House which dates back to 1760, as well as 39 trees in order to build a 11,000 sq ft house. The Brynwood Lane property, located off Round Hill Rd just south of the Merritt Parkway is 2.841 acres.

The 4,953 sq ft historic John Knapp House features eight bedrooms, five and a half baths. The wood frame detached garage was built in 1930 and is 2,180 sq ft.

The application is filed by the Kaali-Nagy Company, and the property owners, the Sherer Family Ltd Partnership.
