Richard Congiu of Greenwich passed away on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at the age of 33. He was born on January 6th, 1984 to Lynn (Weiss) Andrighetti and the late Frank Congiu, Sr. He worked as a contractor for several years and enjoyed working on cars, boats and just about anything he believed he could fix – mechanics were his passion. Whenever he had spare time, he enjoyed spending it with his two children or watching his beloved Raiders.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind two beloved children, Richard Jr. and Angela; his brother Frank and his wife Peyton; his grandmother Phyllis Weiss; his stepfather Bob Andrighetti and stepbrother Luke Andrighetti.
Memorial services for Richard will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 15th from the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home on 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, CT, 06830 with pastor Charles Caviola officiating.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at one of his favorite places to spend time with his children, our Uncle Albert’s home, located at 20 Deep Gorge Road, Greenwich, CT 06831.
