Marie-Therese Fennell of Greenwich passed away on Wednesday May 28 after a brief illness.
Born October 21, 1925, Trecie was raised in the Bronx, attending Dominican Academy and graduated cum laude from the College of New Rochelle. She worked for 38 years at the General Foods Corporation, later Kraft, as executive secretary to several of the company’s CEOs. Later she worked in public relations and edited the company newsletter.
A longtime resident of Greenwich, upon her retirement, Trecie could often be found at the Woman’s Club of Greenwich, St. Agnes Church or socializing with her many friends. She is survived by her brother Jim, nephew Jim, his wife Laura and their five children James, Victoria, Kevin, Conor and Patrick.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday May 31 from 3:00 to 7:00 at Gallagher Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street in Greenwich.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am Monday June 1 at St. Agnes Church, 247 Stanwich Road in Greenwich with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla NY.
