Jill Oberlander will kick off her campaign for the 150th State Representative district at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park from 5:00-6:00pm on Sunday, September 7th. (This reflects a change in schedule)
Oberlander, who faces opponent Mike Bocchino in the race to represent the 150th District in Hartford this fall, served three terms on the RTM where she served on the Finance, Budget Overview and Labor Contracts Committees.
Originally from Westchester, Oberlander worked in New York City’s Parks Department and as an environmental analyst in the Mayor’s Transportation Office after college. After receiving a law degree, she worked as a corporate and real estate attorney at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. And following 9/11, she was general counsel of the Downtown Alliance, the non-profit that worked to rebuild and revitalize lower Manhattan.
