Independence Day is Right Around the Corner

Independence Day is on the horizon and there is a lot to do in Greenwich to celebrate.

In addition to the fireworks and barbeques, the holiday will be celebrated at Town Hall at 9:00am on July 4th. The celebration includes raising the first American Flag and a parade of Greenwich Scouts with the flags from the 13 Colonies.

The event will also honor Greenwich citizens who are descendants of our founding families, and recognize the 100th anniversary of World War I. Patriots who died in the Revolutionary War will be saluted and Good Citizen winners from Greenwich’s public and private schools will be recognized. Complimentary refreshments will be served inside Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd.
