Greenwich native Carl Higbie, a former Navy SEAL, is joining the Trump Administration. He has been appointed Chief of External Affairs for the Corporation for National & Community Service.

Higbie, a strong supporter of President Trump, announced on Twitter he was joining the administration.

Higbie, 34, will be responsible for the agency’s messaging and public image.

According to a report on Fox, where Higbie is a frequent contributor, when asked  if he was concerned by turnover in the President Trump’s administration, he replied, “Not at all.  I’ve was there live from day one, with this President. I backed him, I supported him. I’d be honored to serve in any capacity with him.”

Higbie joins Hope Hicks, a fellow Greenwich native in the Trump administration. Hicks was recently named interim White House Communications Director.
