Sunday 8:00am: The crew from Aquarion pulled an all-nighter, but the water main break by Toyota at 75 East Putnam Ave is not yet repaired and as of 8:30am, the entire stretch of Rt 1 between Indian Field Rd and Cross Lane is closed to traffic in both directions.

Greenwich Police warn Saturday night that the repairs are expected to be an “all-nighter.”
During his WGCH 1490 radio show Ask the Selectman on Friday, Peter Tesei advised friends and colleagues to arrive early to find a suitable place to park. There will be a reception after the ceremony in the St. Lawrence Club.
Consider parking in the municipal lot by the Drawing Room and Cos Cob Library or possibly the parking lot by Sandy’s Summer Stand behind the former Fjord Fisheries on River Rd.
