Augustine’s Farm will open its farm stand for their 64th season on Friday June 19! The bear will be long gone by then.
Their hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9-5, and Sundays 9-4.
Farmer John and Kathy will have a wide variety of lettuces grown in Greenwich, flowers, eggs, honey and corn on the cob from down south. Kathy tells us, “Wonderful fresh garden lettuces, radishes, scallions, beets and carrots are ready now.” She said there will also be local Greenwich strawberries!
“English peas should start around the 4th of July, and we’ll have vine-ripened beefsteak tomatoes from our farmer friend from Pennsylvania,” Kathy said. “Then, in mid-July, we will have our famous orange flesh honeydews!”
The farm is located at 1332 King Street in Greenwich.
