Bobby Inzitari Lands on His Feet, Not Far From Former Karl Auto Service

Bobby Inzitari, formerly of Karl Automotive in Greenwich has landed on his feet just over the Town line.

Starting Monday, Feb. 9th, Inzitari joins the team at Minchin Buick in Stamford. The former manager and auto technician at Karl Automotive Service in Old Greenwich is moving his skills and clientele to Minchin where he will be a Service Advisor and continue to provide that great service his customers counted on for many years.

Bob said he and the manager at Minchin, Peter Maple, are old school mates and with their combined knowledge translates to 90-years of experience. “You can’t beat that,” Inzitari said.

Inzitari described the Minchin operation as a beautiful facility, with 10 bays.

“They’re just a great dealership. They’ve been there many years,” said Inzitari on Tuesday morning.

Inzitari described his longtime Greenwich customers as having gone ballistic when they learned last month that Karl Automotive Service had been sold by its owners, Karl’s Auto Dealership based in New Canaan, to Town Fair Tires.

“I’ve been in this repair business for 16 years and worked for the Karl family for 14 years,” Inzitari told Greenwich Free Press in January.
