Today, Kevin Spacey has brought to light many things that are terribly wrong. It is wrong to link pedophilia and homosexuality. It is especially wrong to conflate the two in his attempt to apologize for unwanted sexual advances towards a 14 year old.
To finally “come out” as a gay man when it was reported that he inappropriately attempted to molest a child is horribly wrong.
The last thing we now need is revisiting this nonsensical, debunked link between the two.
The world we live is fraught with judgment and violence and there are still kids who don’t feel safe in school because of who they are.
Kevin Spacey is wrong, and his alleged criminal actions should never be linked with his sexuality.
