“Stress, Success and Teenage Setbacks: Let’s Talk Mental Health”Set for Thursday at Arch St Teen Center

The popular Stress, Success and Teenage Setbacks event hosted last spring with special guest Scooter Braun, will return to Arch Street Teen Center on Thursday, November 10 with a new theme and featured speaker.

The event runs from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and is free for parents and teens alike.

MTV’s Giovanni Rivera will be featured speaker, and the theme will be teen mental health.

In addition to Mr. Rivera, the event will feature GHS students and Stephanie Marquesano, founder of The Harris Project. The non-profit that focuses on young people with symptoms of or diagnosis of having “co-occurring disorders.”

Co-occurring disorders is the combination of one or more mental health challenges and substance abuse.

The event will feature food from Garden Catering, and is sponsored by the GHS Outreach Club, Greenwich United Way, The Harris Project, CODA Co-Occurring Disorders Awareness, O’Malley Wellness and Liberation Programs.

Arch Street Teen Center is located at 100 Arch Street in Greenwich.
