Nena is a rather distinguished 6-7 year old Shih Tzu, who would be a loving companion in a home. She is sweet and affectionate, and reminds us of an elegant actress — perhaps a bit of a diva.
Nena was used for breeding in her previous home, but has been spayed since then. She had to be shaved, but we were able to save the incredibly soft hair around her face. Nena is a beautiful champagne color and will look stunning when her coat grows back.
Kuko (Spanish nickname for Cookie) is a very friendly 2-3 yr old Shih Tzu who will be a great non-shedding family pet. He was hard to photograph because he kept jumping in our laps — his tail never stopped wagging 🙂 He has the coolest black and white coloring . He is not house trained, so will need a home where someone can devote the time necessary to properly train her.
These two Shih tzus will be at Pet Pantry Ware in Greenwich at 290 Railroad Ave this Saturday, Feb. 28th from 12-3. They are in the care of the non-profit Cat Assistance and are available for FOSTER or adoption.
