Nookie and Nash! Adoptable Dogs Available in Greenwich

Screen Shot 2015-02-07 at 4.17.16 PMLocal dog rescue moms Kerri Ann Hofer and Tina Aronson were at Pet Pantry on Saturday with Nookie and Nash. Hofer and Aronson rescue dogs under the aegis of Cat Assistance (yes, they do dogs too).

Screen Shot 2015-02-07 at 4.46.35 PMNash is just an adorable mixed breed puppy who Aronson has been fostering in Greenwich. He was so cute that he was adopted at Pet Pantry just before this story went to print. Sorry.

Nookie, however is still available. This boy is a sweet, gentle senior tiny Poodle who Hofer agreed to foster when her contacts in Long Island mentioned he had been abandoned in a laundromat.

Nookie is incredibly gentle. He is trusting and loves people. He does not bark and doesn’t mark. He is house trained and shows multiple signs of having been loved, including having been neutered. His goal is to be adopted by someone he can sit and cuddle with. Maybe a senior who would like a steady companion.

Hofer, who is fostering Nookie, said he loves to ride along in the car, knows some tricks and is very relaxed and gentle. If you are interested in learning more about Nookie, contact Kerri Ann Hofer in Greenwich at [email protected]
