Everything Dogs: Little Boy Blue Needs a Home

For days Blue’s dog walker didn’t see him in the apartment building and grew concerned. After  remembering that Blue’s owner sometimes tied him to the roof, the dog walker went there to have a look.

Blue visited Pet Pantry after having a nice run at the dog park at Grass Island.

Blue had been left tied out on the roof in the pouring rain. The dog walker later found out that Blue’s owner had died in a car accident.

Now this owner had a shady past and our friend, and hero, the dog walker opted to bring Blue into his small apartment in the South Bronx where he was watching another woman’s pit bull and caring for his own poodle and cat.

Blue appreciated his new digs. He even became friendly with the black cat. Unable to afford to feed Blue or give him the necessary space he requires, the dog walker got in touch with a local rescue and now Blue waits for his new home.

On Saturday Blue spent the day in Greenwich, visiting the dog park at Grass Island where he enjoyed playing with toys and fetching a ball over and over.

Afterward, at Pet Pantry on Railroad Ave, Blue was friendly with everyone he met and gave out free kisses to all the ladies.

Blue loves to run, so a large yard or green space is a must. He is good with other dogs, proper intro is required. He is 95 lbs of Pit-Cane Corso Mix and is three years old and fully vetted. This guy is a big mush. He is very responsive and super smart. If you are looking for a big strong friendly canine companion, contact Tina in Greenwich at [email protected]
