Adopt-A-Dog Needs Volunteers for Puttin’ on the Dog

puppyMore volunteers are needed for Adopt-A-Dog’s 27th annual Puttin’ On The Dog Festival to ensure the success of the major fundraising event that benefits this important area shelter.  Some 150 volunteers are essential to running the festival which this year is scheduled for Sunday, September 21st at Greenwich, Connecticut’s Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.  Some 7,000 people join their four-legged friends for the popular day of fun.

Interested individuals are encouraged to attend a meeting on Tuesday, August 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Glenville Fire Station located on Glenville Road in Greenwich.  Volunteer assignments include gate attendants, silent auction help, judging ring assistants and more.

Volunteers are also asked to register online at www.adoptadog.org.
