The Town fireworks show is presented by the Dept of Parks & Recreation. The sky will light up off the coast of Greenwich Point at dusk on Saturday, July 5. (The rain date is Sunday, July 6).

The town also sponsors a fireworks show at Binney Park the same day and time.

Come early and spend the day with family and friends!

A note from Greenwich Police on fireworks safety:

Fireworks are often used to celebrate holidays, but they’re not safe in the hands of consumers. They cause thousands of burns and eye injuries every year. Head out to Greenwich Point or Binney Park to watch a safe show put on by experts. Don’t use consumer fireworks and keep an eye on children at events where fireworks are present.

Did you know that sparklers burn at 1200°F! Glass melts at 900° and Wood burns at 575° — sparklers burn hot enough to cause third degree burns and cause 16% of fireworks injuries.
