September Binney Park Pond Dredge Update: Materials Being Removed, ETA for Reopening Spring ’18

On Friday morning Joe Siciliano gave an update on the Binney Park pond dredge project while subbing for Peter Tesei on the Ask the Selectman radio show on WGCH 1490.

Siciliano said first the pond was first de-watered and currently materials are being removed. He said concrete basins will be constructed to catch some of the materials.

“The overall goal is to have it finished this fall, in October or November, with a goal of having it completely reopened by next spring.”

“People should be seeing some progress over there. They are making great strides,” He said.
