How about bringing mom to the Garden Education Center. Deanna Novak sends word that the wildflower trail is just beautiful this weekend. She has organized activities for Sunday. “We have a mud kitchen for the little ones, and paper airplanes, but the main attraction will be the time outdoors.”

The GEC Art Gallery from 9-11 am for anyone who wants to stop by and relax in the park, or take a little hike with the family. The art gallery is now featuring local student green art and giant Minecraft trees. Also, GEC will hide some butterflies around the Pinetum gardens. The kids can search and keep occupied, while you enjoy the flowers and the fresh air.
