Sarah Hart, the director of Cat Assistance, shares a photo of a kitten who was recently adopted from her organization by a family raising chicks.

“Cat Assistance adopted this kitten to a home in Stamford,” Hart said. “She went to live with some chicks and is now ‘just part of the flock’ her new owner tells us.”

Cat Assistance is based in Ardsley, but on any given Saturday, Hart and Greenwich’s Tina Aronson can be found at Pet Pantry on Railroad Ave in Greenwich, with dogs (Cat Assistance rescues dogs too), cats and kittens.

Hart and Aronson were at Pet Pantry last Saturday with a series of kittens and, even an Abyssinian cat who was playful as a puppy and eager to get out of his cage. All of the kittens and the Abyssinian cat need permanent homes, but the group also seeks foster families.

Anyone interested in fostering or adopting should reach out to Tina Aronson at [email protected] or Sarah Hart at [email protected]

Pet Pantry is located at 290 Railroad Ave. Tel. (203) 869-6444.
