Greenwich Avenue will be transformed into the ultimate high fashion catwalk with an evening of style in celebration of its annual Fashion on the Avenue event on Friday, Sept 5 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Greenwich Avenue will be closed from Lewis to Elm Streets for a live outdoor red carpet runway show featuring local retailers and designers.

The show will also feature a performance by Equinox and dancers from The Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich, a car show by Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich and boats presented by J. Catalano & Sons.
Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei will once again serve as the honorary chairperson of the event. Casablanca Polo is the presenting sponsor. Serendipity Magazine is the official magazine sponsor of the event. Equinox and First Bank of Greenwich are exclusive category sponsors.

This year commemorates the fourth year of the show. Greenwich Fashion on the Avenue has become a highly anticipated event, drawing hundreds of spectators on Greenwich Avenue to watch the show, then to attend the festivities and open houses at participating stores, restaurants and other local businesses.
The event kicks off at 5:30pm on Friday, Sept 5 on Greenwich Avenue between Elm and Lewis Streets. It is free and open to the public.
