International School at Dundee 5th Grade to Host Holiday Boutique Fundraiser

screen-shot-2016-11-23-at-10-52-31-pmFifth graders at the International School at Dundee (ISD) will host their first “Holiday Boutique” on Thursday, December 1, from 1:30pm to 7:00pm.

The event, which is open to the public, will feature some 20 vendors including clothing and accessories, handcrafted jewelry, home décor, beauty products and more.  Proceeds will benefit the ISD fifth grade class fund, which will be used by the students to purchase a gift to the school upon their graduation in June.

As hosts of the Holiday Boutique, the fifth grade students have been involved in the planning and also will be actively involved in the day-of-event activities.  Students will sell crafts they’ve created as well as baked goods and snacks, offer gift-wrapping and provide entertainment at the event.  The Holiday Boutique, which is running on an early-release day for Greenwich Public Schools, will be held at ISD, located at 55 Florence Road in Riverside.

“We hope that everyone will come out to support ISD’s Holiday Boutique,” said Karen Grant, fifth grade class parent.  “The fifth graders have worked very hard to create this festive holiday shopping experience. The event offers ISD fifth graders – all with a variety of interests, talents and skills– a fun way to get involved in raising funds for their class gift to the school.”
