Annual Glenville Parade Set for May 24. Decorate Your Bike in Red, White and Blue

Screen Shot 2015-05-11 at 1.02.56 PMThe 9th District Veterans Association and the Glenville Volunteer Fire Company cordially invite you to the Annual Glenville Memorial Day Parade and Service on Sunday May 24.

The parade route moves along Glenville Street from Walker Court to the Glenville Fire House. Parade participants should form up on Walker Court at 4:30pm. Following the parade,there will be a brief ceremony and wreath laying at the Veterans Monument adjacent to the Fire House. Refreshments will be served at the American Legion and the 9th District Veterans Association buildings following the ceremony.

Children who are not part of Scouts of Mavericks teams are encouraged to patriotically decorate their bicycles and participate in the parade. (Note: Greenwich Free Press photographer will be looking for patriotically decorated bikes in particular!)
