Greenwich Skatepark to Open March 12

skateparkThe Greenwich Skatepark will open Saturday, March 12, weather permitting.

According to the town’s Parks & Rec Department, initially the Park will only be opened on weekends from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Beginning Monday, March 28, 2016 the Skatepark will operate Monday – Friday 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm and Weekends 12:30 pm – 7:00 pm.

The Greenwich Skatepark is a fun, safe, supervised park for youths 6 years of age and up to skateboard.  The Park is located at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park next to the Arch Street Teen Center.

Annual Memberships are available to residents at the Town Hall, Parks & Recreation Office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday – Friday, or online. To purchase a membership online go to: www.greenwichct.org/webtrac and select “Activity Registration.

The annual membership fee is $175 and entitles the cardholder to use the park whenever it is open and to receive discounts on classes and competitions.

Day Passes and Monthly memberships may be purchased at the Skatepark.  The day pass fee is $10.00 per day.  Our Monthly membership fee is $30.00 per month.  The monthly membership entitles the member to use the Skatepark whenever it is open for the entire month and can be purchased anytime.

All skaters 17 years or younger must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver release form before they can skate.  Full pads are required.
