11th Annual Walk for Abilis / Inaugural 5.K Run Will Take Place at Greenwich Point

Save the Date! The 11th Annual Walk for Abilis / Inaugural 5.K Run will be held at Greenwich  Point on Sunday, October 16, 2016.

The Walk/Run is a family-friendly event designed for individuals of all ages an abilities. It includes a wheelchair and stroller accessible one-mile route, childrens’ activities, including a bouncy tent and fire truck, plus a variety of local food vendors.

Registration will start at 7:30 am, the 5K run and children’s activities a 9:00 am, followed by the 1-mile walk at 10:30 am.

The Walk brings together Abilis families, local business partners, and community members to build awareness and raise critical funds for Abilis programs.

“This is the one community event we do every year in which all of our families and their children can participate,” said Dennis W. Perry, Abilis CEO/President.
