‘Raise a Ruckus’ on April 28 to Benefit Neighbor to Neighbor

Raisin' a Ruckus for Neighbor to NeighborThe public is invited to kick up their heels on Friday, April 28 th from 6:30 – 10:30 pm at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, which will be transformed into a rodeo-themed hoedown.

An exciting time is guaranteed, and will include line dancing, bourbon tasting and even mechanical bull-riding. Guests will be treated to upscale southern cuisine by Libby Cooke Catering, followed by dessert and an espresso bar. Live and silent auctions, including tickets to see Lady Gaga, tickets to the Greenwich Town Party, an authentic paella dinner prepared in your home as well as sports, dining and beauty items, and an ole time photo booth will round out the evening.

Put on your cowboy boots and line up for some foot stompin’ fun, all to benefit Greenwich’s food and clothing pantry, Neighbor to Neighbor.

Tickets for this lively evening, as well as auction pre-bidding, are on sale at 501auctions.com/ntnruckus. You may bid on auction items even if you are unable to attend the event.

All proceeds will benefit the work of the organization. Neighbor to Neighbor provides 360,000 meals each year to over 660 local families, including 14,500 summer lunches to over 300 Greenwich students when school is out, promoting access to fresh healthy food for those who cannot otherwise afford it.

Through its clothing room, Neighbor provides good quality in-season clothing, shoes, linens, blankets, diapers, household items and prom dresses to over 2,800 area residents. All items are provided at no cost to families and individuals in our area struggling to make ends meet.
