Peace Community Chapel’s Coat Drive Results in 130 Brand New Coats for Those in Need

On Friday Don Adams, Pastor at Peace Community Chapel, and several members took inventory of and delivered boxes full of brand new coats to those in need locally.

According to Pastor Adams, this is the second year of the coat drive. Last year, 65 new coats and 25 sleeping bags were delivered to Pacific House in Stamford.

“We were hoping to raise enough money this year to purchase 100 new coats, which we would divide between Pacific House and InspiricaCT,” Adams said.

Due to the generosity of Peace Community Chapel’s members and friends, the effort resulted in the purchase of 130 brand new coats.

On Friday, Adams and several members of Peace Community Chapel delivered 60 coats to Pacific House and 70 coats to InspiricaCT.

“They were very excited and appreciative that we were able to meet a very important and necessary need, especially at this time of the year,” he said.
