NEBCO Insurance Services, LLC recently presented a check for more than $5,000 to Bobby Walker, Jr., CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. The gift represents proceeds from a unique partnership between the high-net-worth personal insurance agency and the Club whose mission is to help Greenwich youth reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens. In this partnership, community members who want to support the Boys & Girls Club simply place their personal insurance with the professionals at NEBCO who then in turn make a donation to the Club.
Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich provides cost-effective care and enrichment for children ages 6-18 during out-of-school time throughout the year. Programs for children are based on five core areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation. The Club has more than 1,800 members, 50% of whom qualify as low-income based on standards established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
