GHS Clothing and Textile Drive Will Reuse, Re-Purpose, Recycle Old Clothes, Bedding, etc

GHS Outreach, Stress Less and CODA Club are holding a Clothing and Textile Drive April 16 – April 27.

Donations will be reused, re-purposed, recycled, and kept out of the landfills.

Proceeds from the drive will benefit the Harris Project and education of co-occurring disorders.  Please clean out your closets, drawers basement, attic and garage.  Drop-off bins are located in the GHS front glass hallway, and in the back gym parking lot, as well as at Arch Street Teen Center.

Bring unwanted clothes, shoes, belts, bags, towels, bedding, and any other textiles. Torn, stained, or broken, we’ll take them in any condition.

Keep it out of landfills, recycle as affordable options or cloth rags.

• COD(Co-Occurring Disorders): the combination of one or more mental health challenges and substance misuse/addiction.

• CODA: a youth movement to raise COD Awareness, create opportunities to end stigma, encourage early intervention and support.

This event supports the creation of the CODA Toolkit.
