“Cultivating A Community of Gardeners” presented by Greenwich Community Gardens Would you like to grow your own fresh produce but don’t have the right space, or just don’t like to garden alone? Are you a beginner and not sure what will work? An experienced gardener who loves to learn and grow and mentor others? A community-minded person or group who would like to grow food for our neighborhood food pantry?

Screen Shot 2015-02-22 at 11.00.39 PMCome see why community gardeners are not just producing and eating the best and freshest food in town – they are creating a healthy, happy  and diverse community – right in our own gardens.

The event is Feb. 28 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

Listen while Patty Sechi, founder of the Armstrong Court Community Garden and the Bible Street Community Garden, and actual gardeners share how they have benefited from being members of our local community gardens.

You’ll find out how you can become a community gardener or garden supporter this year too! This event is free to the public. More information is available on the Greenwich Community Gardens website.
