Byram Veterans Memorial Day Parade Draws a Crowd

The Byram Veterans Association annual Memorial Day parade took place on Sunday. It was a small and lovely parade that brought Greenwich residents out on the beautiful spring day.

The parade stopped at Byram Schubert library, where they raised the flag, had speeches and Kim Hall sang the national anthem.

“I ask you when you thank those veterans, remember all those other veterans who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Especially those whose names we won’t know and won’t remember,” Mike Bocchino said in his speech truly addressing the essence of Memorial Day.
