PHOTOS: Boys & Girls Club Fashion Show Turns Heads on Friday Night

At the Boys & Girls Club, athletic coordinator and Torch Club advisor Camryn Ferrara is always brainstorming opportunities for club kids to grow their self confidence and have unforgettable, enriching experiences.

On Friday, Ferrara’s collaboration with Rocco Evans from the White Plains Old Navy store resulted in a fun opportunity for club kids: A fashion show!

Old Navy, which happens to be a national sponsor of the Boys & Girls Clubs, also connects with local clubs for events and collaborations. During the recent “Pass It On” program Ferrara and Evans got to talking.

The result of their brainstorming was the fashion show for a dozen kids on Friday night.

Once the music started to play, the kids really got into it, working the imaginary runway in the club’s game room. Friends and family couldn’t stop taking photos.

At the end of the show, the kids were surprised to learn that they could each keep the Old Navy outfits they modeled.
