Free Dance Injury Prevention Workshop Hosted by Allegra on Wednesday

On Nov. 5 Allegra Dance Studio is offering a free workshop open to all dancers. “The Intelligent Dancer Workshop” will focus on dance injury prevention education and strategies.

The workshop runs from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

The point of this presentation will be to understand causes of injury on a deeper level and point out ways to increase our awareness level of how to prevent them as well as become more in-tune to addressing them as both students, teachers, future teachers & great performers.

The idea of a physical injury is much more complex than just existing in the physical realm as it has been well-studied that there is an inherent Biopsychosocial model that relates to these injuries on both the cause and effect side of things.

By increasing our understanding of these inherent elements to injury we can become more involved in preserving our passions in order to achieve our most inner goals and stay in alignment with our core values that drive us to dance from and for our hearts and souls.  The ultimate goal is to help you reach your fullest potential.

Please contact Allegra Dance Studio if you’re interested in participating in the free workshop with *Tina Sferra of Elite Performance and Physical Therapy in Bedford Hills, NY.

RSVP by Email: [email protected] or call (203) 629-9162.
