Eastern Middle School Presents Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella

The Eastern Middle School 8th Grade Show Chorus will perform the musical “Cinderella” from Thursday, January 18 through Saturday, January 20 in the school’s Lee Book Auditorium.

Show times are Thursday, January 18th at 4:15 p.m., Friday, January 19th at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, January 20th at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday tickets are $5, and Friday and Saturday tickets are $15.

Tickets are sold in the main lobby of the school beginning January 11th every day before school from 7:15 a.m to 7:45 a.m.

The Eastern Middle School Show Chorus invites residents of local senior and adult living homes to the Thursday afternoon performance as guests of the school, free of charge.

There are 92 students in the cast, directed by Matthew Tracey, assisted by EMS 7th Grade Social Studies teacher Jennifer Badillo with choreography by Scott Sisbarro from St. Saviour’s School of Dance in Greenwich.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical.

The production features a 12-piece professional orchestra, Eastern’s largest to date. This
contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers + Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible”, “Ten Minutes Ago” & “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful?” in this hilarious and romantic experience for anyone who’s ever had a dream.

The cast of characters include Ella (Alexis Killeen), Topher (Charlie Adorney), Madame (Sofia Luna), Sebastian (Finn McCooe), Marie (Alexandra Lawler), Gabrielle (Stephanie Busani), Charlotte (McMillan Graham), Jean-Michel (Hunter Daur), and Lord Pinkleton (Ben Walker).
